Our team is dedicated to crafting engaging and original content tailored to the needs of energy and water utility customers. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to produce a diverse array of content, ranging from insightful articles and eye-catching infographics to compelling video scripts. These creations will play a pivotal role in powering Questline Digital’s newsletter service, bespoke client initiatives, and a variety of content marketing strategies.

This remote role welcomes candidates from anywhere in the U.S. Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to attend meetings at our Central Ohio office located in Dublin, Ohio, once per month.

What your impact will be:
- Produce content that is useful, interesting and informative for publication in Questline Digital’s content library, newsletters, and other content solutions.
- Develop original topic ideas based on audience interest and client goals and identify the most effective formats and channels to tell those stories.
- Conduct research on specific topics and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Create content in a compelling voice while adhering to company guidelines and AP style.
- Self-edit for spelling, grammar, tone and originality; copyedit others’ writing for clarity and accuracy.
- Review archived content to ensure that Questline’s extensive library remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the utility industry; advocate for new approaches to building engagement with energy and water customers.
What we are looking for:
- 3-5 years of professional content writing experience (agency, media or corporate).
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality digital content in a variety of formats.
- Excellent writing, copyediting and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with content strategy principles and practices.
- Experience using CMS platforms and project management tools.
- Experience in the energy or water utility industry is preferred, but not required.
