Remodeling Apprentice (W2 Employee- Full Time)

D&D Remodeling is a custom home remodeling company in Denver, particularly the southwest corner of the city. We are a design-build firm that walks our clients through every step of the remodeling process from floor plans, designs, finish selections, 3D renders, project management, construction, to the final brush strokes. We are searching for Remodeling Apprentices who want to learn all aspects of residential remodeling and construction. We train all of our entry level assistants in all skills, including demolition, framing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile, cabinets, painting, finish carpentry, windows, flooring, finish installation, and more. Our goal for every apprentice is for them to become a project lead, demonstrating expertise in each of these skills to such an extent as to bring our full remodel projects (ranging $30,000-250,000+) to completion.

Because we train our apprentices in all trades, we are only interested in candidates who are committed to this process and field long term. It takes a minimum of 3-5 years working with us to be able to independently complete our simplest projects. This job is very hard work and is a slow path to mastery. If you have the patience, though, it is also holistic, meaningful, and a crucial service to our clients and community.

We do not require any significant experience (though, higher skilled candidates will have opportunities for higher pay and quicker advancement). We do, however, require that our employees have an incredible work ethic, fastidious eye for detail, internal compass of integrity, and excellent customer service skills. If you are not known as the hardest working person in your circle, this is not the job for you. On the other hand, if you want to holistically commit yourself to this field and have the opportunity to see a dilapidated room become a modern work of art, D&D Remodeling may be the place for you.

Apprentices will work under project leads who will progressively teach them trade skills that are necessary on our job sites, moving from the easiest skills to master to the most difficult.
