Rebecca School, a DIRFloortime school, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Related Service Coordinator starting in August 2024. Rebecca School serves students 3 to 21 years old with neurodevelopmental delays in relating and communicating, offering a safe and nurturing environment for students and families. The Related Service Coordinator will directly supervise the occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech language pathology department heads. In addition this position will collaborate with the Related Service departments and the Education department to support the growth and vision of a DIRFloortime School (Developmental, Individual-difference, Relationship-based model developed by Stanley Greenspan, M.D.).
Salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 depending on skills, qualifications and experience (based on a 12-month position).
RESPONSIBILITIES | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Provide individual and group supervision to Related Service providers
- Participate in initial intake evaluations and assessments to determine a student's level of function
- Provide written reports identifying the student's needs and proposed treatment strategies, goals and objectives; maintain progress records
- Collaborate with staff in the development, analysis and preparation of reports, and in-service assignments
- Provide team members with education for facilitation of implemented techniques or modalities
- Monitor therapy and educational staff trained to incorporate appropriate Related Service treatment strategies into instruction; evaluate effectiveness of the established program and make modifications within the clinical framework of the DIR model
- Train other staff on pertinent therapeutic activities and techniques to support students as needed
- Collaborate with education department
- Participate in weekly Greenspan meetings, team meetings and staff trainings
QUALIFICATIONS | WHAT YOU BRING
- Minimum of a Master degree (in Related Service field)
- Must be a licensed OT, PT or SLP
- Minimum of DIR204 by August 2024
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership/supervisor position
- Demonstrates strength in working with a team and collaborating with other professionals.
