This position for a Registered Nurse is for a long term care facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications and treatments to patients, providing emotional support, checking vital signs and overall nursing care. Long term care facilities often involve very high-risk patients with complicated medical issues, so the ideal candidate will be compassionate, committed to patient safety and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with several different tasks at once.
Responsibilities:
- Take care of elderly patients.
- Narrate patient care assistance to physicians.
- Monitor and document patient's condition and vital signs.
- Divide nursing duties between multiple patients.
- Adhere to infection control protocols.
- Use medical equipment and devices such as blood pressure monitors and oxygen regulators.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
