- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in electronic health records system (Dentrix)
- Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist
- Provide dental care to pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
```Experience```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with medical documentation and terminology
- Experience with Dentrix or similar electronic health records system is preferred
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is a plus
