SalaryOur private office is looking for a motivated Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! The ideal candidate should have competent hygiene skills and interact with patients and staff in a professional and kind manner. We have both full and part time positions available at this time.
Dental Hygienist Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment room by adhering to protocols and procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, draping, and soothing patient
- Maintain instrumentation by sterilizing, sharpening, and selecting instruments
- Apply fluoride and other agents to prevent cavities
- Clean patients’ teeth using a variety of methods and tools
- Prepare and take dental x-rays
- Educate patients about good oral hygiene including plaque control and postoperative instructions
- Administer anesthetics as needed
- Document services by recording dental histories and recording visits in patient’s chart
Dental Hygienist Job Requirements
- Associate degree in dental hygiene
- Dental hygienist state license
- BLS/CPR certified
- Maintain annual HIPAA, Infection Control, and OSHA training as required by law
- Dentrix Experience preferred, but not required
- Positive demeanor and attitude

Pay: Based on experience

Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 32 per week
