Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt)

Beyond Limits Behavioral Services is an evidence based ABA company dedicated to providing compassionate therapy services for individuals with autism and related disorders in the Chicagoland area. WE ARE IN-HOME (SCHOOL and DAYCARE included) as we have found a continued need for families and caregivers. We are professional, collaborative and supportive with a focus on promoting skill acquisition, independence, and quality of life for each client.

We are currently hiring for TWO (2) BEHAVIOR TECHNICIANS. Ideal candidates will either have the Registered Behavior Technician Certification or have a Bachelors Degree with at (MUST HAVE CERTIFICATION) with RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION. We are offering a SIGN ON BONUS for our new hires!

Job Duties:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
• Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
• Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage appropriate behaviors
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Support in the creation of client materials
• Assist in administrative tasks (i.e. scheduling, intakes, registration, etc) as needed

Requirements:

• Registered Behavior Technician CERTIFICATION (must be active) or Bachelors Degree with at least 1 YEAR of experience
• RELIABLE CAR (travel to client homes or other designated locations)
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred)
• Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities
• Must enjoy interacting and playing with kids and generally be a fun person
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans effectively, receive and apply constructive feedback
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to pass a background check
