Surgical Science is a simulation company – supplying virtual reality simulators and stand-alone software for medical training to hospitals as well as to the medical device industry. The headquarters are in Gothenburg, with additional offices in Stockholm, Tel Aviv, China, Cleveland, and Seattle.
The virtual reality simulators are used by medical training centers and institutes worldwide for practice, validation and certification of students, surgeons, and medical doctors. Job Title: Regional Sales Manager, Educational Products, Central Region
Job Summary:
Surgical Science brings world-class simulators to physicians across the globe. In this position, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for selling Surgical Science’s line of advanced medical training simulators in the Central U.S and Canada region.
The RSM is responsible for overseeing business opportunities with hospitals and teaching institutions in the defined geography. The RSM will build strong relationships with existing and potential customers and define their requirements to promote our company’s solutions to expand our sales.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Meet all sales goals and objectives.
- Meet with prospective and existing customers to provide product demonstrations.
- Cultivate customer relationships.
- Provide weekly updates and accurate monthly and annual sales forecast.
- Obtain and report current market information in the region (trends, competition, pricing, etc.).
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Effectively utilize and expand client information though Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Coordinate and participate in exhibitions, courses, tradeshows, and other events.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- +3 years of proven, documented success in B2B, capital equipment, or medical device sales.
- Passion for client service and understanding that future success is dependent upon exceptional existing efforts.
- Comfort and confidence in addressing the needs of a variety of departments within a hospital system. Team player capable of flourishing in a collaborative company environment.

Language:
Fluent in English, written and oral. Knowledge of other major languages is merit.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent travel including weekends.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
