We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our small Janitorial and Facility Maintenance firm focused on expanding our client base within the small business sector. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target and acquire small business clients.
- Identify and prioritize potential clients within the defined market segment.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and client needs to tailor sales strategies accordingly. ( Support Clerk handles most of this)
- Prospect, identify, and qualify potential small business clients through various channels, including cold calls, networking, and referrals. ( Support Clerk handles most of this)
- Conduct in-depth research on client needs and pain points, and present customized solutions to address their janitorial and facility maintenance requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client goals and providing ongoing support and recommendations.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback. ( Support Clerk handles)
- Generate regular sales reports and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies as needed. ( Support Clerk handles)
- Collaborate with the operations and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Work closely with marketing to develop effective sales collateral and campaigns targeting small clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of sales success, preferably in janitorial services or facility maintenance.
- Strong understanding of the small business market and client needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and mentor a sales team.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
This position is perfect for someone with a sales background that works in Sales currently, but seeking to diversify thier earning with cross selling or cross promotions.
Monthly Base Compensation: $1200/ monthly plus company expense card for expenses and gas.
30 % Commission on New Accounts & Tag Work paid out monthly.
