About The Role
Zephyr is looking for a Regional Director of Operations to work with the VP of Operations to partner with our businesses and all aspects of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical business operations. This person will drive growth, performance metrics, create culture, and develop all staff and management, constantly striving to be a world-class operator. In addition to full P&L ownership, the Regional Director of Operations will assist with additional M&A activity.

This is a full-time role that will report into the VP of Operations and be fully remote with frequent travel to our businesses.
What You'll Do Here
- Provide direction, strategic guidance, and development to General Managers, Operations Managers, and Support teams, ensuring revenue and EBIDTA targets are met with P&L ownership
- Build a strong, cohesive, and collaborative cross-regional culture, sharing and leveraging opportunities and resources to achieve sustainable growth
- Develop, prioritize, and implement operational plans to achieve profit and growth goals; manage expenditures and hiring to meet operational goals
- Develop and execute against monthly forecasts and plans for sales growth, market mix, and profitability
- Lead major change management initiatives and strategic organizational alignment
- Maintain a strong customer focus, leveraging the brand, and drive employee engagement in a rapidly changing and highly competitive business environment
- Work with Managers and Support teams to build strong training programs – technical, service, and sales – to drive best-in-class customer experience and employee career growth
- Be an absolute champion for sales; build a sales mindset in every team member
- Ensure adherence of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws
- Promote enthusiasm and brand loyalty during daily huddles, team meetings, and 1:1's
- Travel to our businesses 70% of the time

- 3-5+ years of Operations experience a must, bonus points if you're an MBA graduate

- Willingness and ability to learn and help train industry standards and best practices
Management/Supervisory experience required, P&L experience a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to apply critical thinking, risk analysis and develop solutions
- Willingness to travel for work frequently (70%)
The pay for this position is $150,000/year or more depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Equity and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
