What You’ll Do
Position Summary
The Regional Director of Operations,Houston is responsible for overseeing the launch and subsequent operations of multiple centers across the Houston market. This individual will lead clinical and non-clinical employees, support operational initiatives, engage in neighborhood and community activities, and ensure that day-to-day clinic operations run smoothly and timely. This role reports to the Market President, Texas and collaborates closely with the Chief Medical Officer, Texas; the SVP, Health Economics; and the SVP, Growth. The Market Center Directors will report to the Regional Director of Operations.
This person will be a relationship-oriented, dynamic leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of driving operational results at scale. Responsibilities consist of but not all inclusive:
Responsibilities
- Partner with Center and Associate Directors to direct and manage the day-to-day operational activities of assigned neighborhood practice centers. Promote best practice sharing and standardization of operational procedures across assigned market to drive performance as measured by key performance indicators.
- Develop, implement, and monitor annual and operational budgets for market neighborhood centers. Identify and rectify variances to ensure financial targets are met.
- Effectively manage and encourage a collaborative dynamic between market Center Directors. Onboard, train and coach new Center Directors and provide ongoing feedback on clinical and operational performance.
- Cultivate trusting relationships with providers and other shared / market team members, and coach all market team members to maximize patient and family satisfaction. Instill a service-oriented, inclusive, and collaborative culture across assigned market.
- Develop tactics to drive best-in-class patient experience. Regularly solicit patient and teammate feedback across assigned market to continuously improve customer service and patient engagement.
- Conduct neighborhood center reviews, including detailed review of profit and loss statement, incentive programs, operating indicators, and physician productivity. Communicate results and problem solve with market team in a timely manner to drive financial and operational effectiveness.

What You’ll Bring
Education, Experience, Licensure, or Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 5+ years’ of management experience in a healthcare setting; 2+ years of multisite experience preferred
- Demonstrated organization and execution skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a cross-functional operating environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with teammates of different levels across the organization.
- Proven track record of building and developing a best-in-class team with a true passion for mentorship. Able to manage up and down, and partner with teammates of all levels to drive growth and improved outcomes.
- Humble and intrinsically motivated team player who is passionate about culturally sensitive care.
- Experience with value-based care reimbursement methodologies and value-based care contracting preferred
- Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
