Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of strategic Business Development plans for assigned region and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives
- Manages Community Liaisons in assigned region and is responsible for performance management within the region, utilizing Salesforce and other platforms
- Directs training, staffing and performance reviews
- Maintains market awareness and prepares competitive updates
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key strategic referral partners within region
- Responsible for accurate and timely referral and admission reporting for region
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote service line
- Meets with key clients, assist and guides Community Liaisons with negotiating and finalizing partnerships
- Analyzes and controls sales related expenditures within assigned region to adhere to budgetary requirements
- Utilizes appropriate company resources to maintain and develop business opportunities'
- Complies with PHI, HIPPA and STARK guidelines/law
- Comply with STARK laws as they pertain to healthcare sales
- Leads, attends, and participates in department and team meetings as required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Associate’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a Healthcare related field or 2 years of supervisory experience
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
- 5 or more years of healthcare related industry marketing/ sales experience
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work assignments to meet departmental and corporate deadlines
- Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve, and follow up regarding issues in an effective and timely fashion
- Flexible, detail- oriented individual who works well under pressure
- Excellent problem solving, communication, time management and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software skills
- Excellent presentation and customer skills
- Ability to conduct overnight travel within assigned territory up to 50% of the time
- Ability to spend 70% in the field and 30% office/remote support
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a Healthcare related field
- Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
