Salary: $46,679

Position Description

Working under the direction of the Director of Parks & Recreation, the Redwood Community Center Program Coordinator plans, promotes, implements, coordinates, and supervises the daily activities of the Redwood Community Center, including senior activities, special events, and facility usage.

Examples of Duties (Illustrative Only)

Under general supervision of Director of Parks and Recreation:

· Coordinate senior wellness, dance, fitness, and entertainment programs

· Coordinate Special Events at the Redwood Center

· Prepare monthly schedules

· Research, recruit, and contract instructors, entertainers, and vendors as needed

· Maintains supplies, equipment, and materials in support of programs

· Communicate effectively with community members, instructors, and entertainers to ensure smooth operations

· Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications Manager for website updates and event promotions

· Monitor the conditions of the Redwood Community Center and Upland Park and coordinate with the Superintendent of Parks regarding any needed work or inspections

Qualifications

• · High School Diploma
• · Excellent Customer Service Skills
• · Moderate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• · Strong Communication Skills
• · Ability to work independently
• · Pennsylvania Driver’s License
• · Delaware County Resident
• · Experience in Recreation Programming or Scheduling (preferred)
• · Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,679.00 per year
