The Maintenance Staff member will perform general and preventative maintenance in a large, full service facility. The Maintenance Staff member will help maintain and service boilers, air conditioning, swimming pool, plumbing, and electrical equipment. He or she will assist leadership team in keeping the facility clean, safe, and ready for use.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or general educational development certificate
-Basic mechanical aptitude
-A minimum two years facility maintenance experience
Responsibilities and Principal Activities:
-Assist with the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
-Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
-Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
-Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
-Ensure helath and safety policies are complied with.
-Order supplies; keep records/inventory.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
-Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
-Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
-Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, stoop.
-Work in an environment containing chemicals.
