Purpose & Vision:
To provide a favorable first impression and customer service experience by
representing Living Hope to visitors, Good Beginnings staff and families, phone
callers, service technicians, and delivery personnel. To provide general office
support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
Key Responsibilities at Living Hope:
● Manage “New Guest Follow Up” from start to finish
○ Prepare welcome letters and follow up correspondence based on
processes
○ Follow up phone calls
○ Next Step invitations
● Become proficient with membership database entry and reporting
● Maintain & assist staff with Church Management Software database
● Function out of the Welcome Center desk work area
● Provide primary telephone call center responsibilities for Living Hope
● Coordinate all facility rentals
● Support staff & Groups in use of facility
● Office supplies inventory and ordering
● Maintain building opening and closing procedures (ie.kitchen, front desk)
● Maintain continual awareness of groups. Coordinate the Welcome Center
volunteers and guests for Sunday mornings.
● Direct Care needs to Pastor of Care
Qualifications:
● Spiritual Maturity
● Minimum of two years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or
equivalent
● Strong computer skills are imperative (Excel, Google Docs, etc.)
● Proficient in the use of office copier/printer
● Excellent communication skills
● Command of English composition and punctuation
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Intuitive, problem solver

Personal/Spiritual: As we seek to effectively serve others it is essential all
members of our paid staff shall have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
and seek to faithfully follow Him in their personal and professional lives. It is also
imperative that staff members actively seek to build positive and Godly working
relationships with staff and volunteers that are then conducive to effective
service to God.
Work schedule: This is a full time position with work hours on Sunday and two
days off a week. This position does involve periodic work in the evenings.. The
scheduling of work hours may be re-adjusted according to the needs of the
ministry.
Accountability: This role reports directly to the Campus Pastor. An annual
evaluation will take place based on this Position Description.
