- Evaluate applicants by screening resumes and conducting reference checks and phone screens/interviews to discuss job requirements and applicant qualifications. Schedule further interviews or present candidates to hiring managers.
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle (from sourcing to onboarding) across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain talent.
- Arrange interviews by coordinating schedules. Demonstrate and train for strong interviewing skills with working knowledge of a variety of interviewing techniques and applicant screening methods.
•Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy for sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent, including the maintenance of an Applicant Tracking System.
•Stay abreast of current recruiting tactics including job boards, social networks, and platforms that help attract talent.
•Participate in hiring events to stay connected in the community.
•Build strong relationships with hiring managers to develop trust and make recommendations for hiring top talent.
•Build and maintain relationships with staffing resources including community career sources, high schools, College/universities, local career centers, etc.
•Maintain updated job descriptions that are compliant with ADA, OFCCP, and EEO regulations and assist with the creation of new job descriptions as roles are established throughout the organization.
•Maintain employer brand by monitoring external career sites, updating content, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
•Initiate and follow through with drug tests. Ensure that results are received and reviewed promptly. Communicate any discrepancies that need to be reviewed to the Human Resource Manager.
•Research and work with the Director of Human Resources and hiring managers to determine appropriate salary amounts for each candidate and create and present offer letters.
•Create and maintain an engaging onboarding program that helps new hires fully integrate into our culture.
•Assist the Director of Human Resources with employee engagement initiatives that promote a culture that fosters our values.
•Support other general Human Resource functions (benefits, unemployment, payroll)
•Support Human Resources with generalist duties as needed.
•Support Hiring Managers on Human Resource best practices
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years of recruiting and human resource experience.
•Strong interviewing skills
•Display proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
•Resourceful, well organized and a self- starter.
•Ability to interact with employees and customers, both internal and external, in a professional, friendly manner.
- High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible.
Salary Description
$55,000 - $60,000 Exempt
