Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton, IL is looking for a full-time Recruiter & Payroll Assistant!
Summary:
This position works closely with the Director of Human Resources to perform the sourcing, screening, and on-boarding of candidates for employment. The position also works with the Payroll Manager to assist with administrative payroll-related duties.
Job Duties:
- Builds applicant sources by research into sourcing opportunities as well as attendance at job fairs and recruitment events
- Determines applicant qualifications by conducting phone and in-person screenings, setting up in-person interviews with administration members, and serving as the main point of contact for potential candidates
- Contacts candidate references and coordinates pre-employment testing as needed
- Assists with the initial on-boarding as well as new employee orientations
- Performs administrative payroll duties such as PBJ hours tracking and audits
- Serves as a back-up for processing bi-weekly payroll
- Assists with tracking and communications regarding computer-based learning programs
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
- Excellent communication skills both orally and written
- Must be highly organized and willing to manage shifting priorities
- Positive attitude and ability to maintain confidential information
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be available to work 32 hours weekly, including occasional early evenings when necessarily
