As a Recruiter at Youth Shelters and Family Services, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent to support our organizations objectives. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.

What would my job responsibilities be?

• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and create detailed job descriptions.
• Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
• Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate suitability and alignment with company culture.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews, providing support and guidance to both hiring managers and candidates.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to offer negotiation
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in recruitment
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Provide assistance in financial and program audits.
• Provide support with completion of employee data reports (to include assembling, preparing, and analyzing data).
• Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
• Provide support by entering, formatting, and printing information.
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
• Coordinate training for new hire and existing employees by coordinating with internal or external trainers.
• Track training by identifying and when various employees require trainings or refresher courses, calendar management, enrollment of employees, and tracking training completion.

What are the qualifications and experience I need to become a recruiter?

• Associate degree in Human Services, Human Resources, Business Administration and one year of relevant experience preferred.
• OR HR Certificate or two to three years related experience.
• OR 3 to 5 years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with homeless and at-risk youth, preferred.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with hiring managers and candidates
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

What are the scheduled shift you are looking to fill?

• Monday through Friday between 8AM to 5PM

What does the pay look like for this position?

• Starting rate of pay is $20/hour or higher depending on experience.
