The Recovery Support Specialist facilitate a safe and secure residential setting where patients emotional and physical treatment needs are addressed. Recovery Support Specialists re thee are the foundation to the patient’s treatment experience and the policies and procedures are the structure for their support. Above all, a Recovery Support Specialist will provide patients with the highest quality customer service.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants will:
- Have high school diploma or GED.
- An Associate of Art of Science degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Must be willing to comply with N95 respirator requirements, including the removal of facial hair for initial fit testing and throughout employment when donning N95 respirators is clinically indicated.

The hourly range for this position is $15.95-$20.75.

Recovery Support Specialist Job Duties:
- Offer quality customer service to patients which will include tasks such as modeling and teaching daily living skills, appointment management and transportation, medication observation and documentation, and various patenting support.
- Document the observation of patient behaviors in order to support their treatment plans.
- Conduct daily inspections of the client rooms and building, depending upon the shift. Make regular bedroom and ground checks.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, "stand-up" and pass-down at shift change.
- Provide basic office tasks such as answering phone and document messages, typing, scanning, etc., and ensure the working areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Be proficient in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) in order to effectively document treatment activities in the patient's record.
- Monitor and/or observe the collection of samples for urinalysis drug testing, completing required documentation.
- Provide general information to patients about the program which includes patient guidelines and why they exist, where/how to obtain needed items, and other supportive information for a successful and pleasant treatment experience.
