General Description
Coordinate and manage the operations of the Chamber office. Answers incoming calls and records messages. Opens and closes Chamber building. Oversee the Visitor’s Center and display materials. Assists in maintaining member records. Maintains office supplies. Interacts with wide array of individuals, balancing multiple tasks and maintaining positive attitude and energy. Provide office support to the Chamber President to include filing and managing calendars. Provides support for other staff members and projects as needed.
31 hours per week.
Job Duties
- Must have working knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google Docs; and general computer knowledge.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Dependable mode of transportation. Occasionally running errands is part of this position’s responsibility.
- Good organizational and time management skills with ability to work independently.
- Able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Must have exceptional phone and interpersonal skills.
- Proofreading skills are a plus.
- Ability to write professional correspondence as requested.
- Assist with Banquet Room (schedule, clean, and setup).
- Open and distribute mail.
- Process Certificates of Origin.
