What Administration contributes to Cardinal Health
Business & Administrative Support is responsible for assisting general business operations by providing an array of administrative and data support activities.
Administration is responsible for performing a variety of administrative activities in support of their assigned work team. May assist executives in budget preparation, record maintenance, and generating reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc. Uses company software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues.
Responsibilities:
The receptionist of Cardinal Health is responsible for managing the front door and physical security to the building. The receptionist supports the Business Support Supervisor on special projects as they are assigned. The Receptionists duties include but are not limited to:
  • Open/close front lobby desk daily
  • Primarily interacting with guests and staff
  • Responsible for physical security at front desk
  • Produce temporary security access badges for employees, contractors & visitors.
  • Manage daily calls and transfer to desired department.
  • Mail distribution
  • Daily badge inventory sheets
  • Manages any facility related emails and pass along to appropriate persons.
  • FedEx; service, supplies
  • Communicate with Security all badge request (access, missing and replacements)
  • Prepare daily log in sheet for client's arrivals day prior based on Client Resource Calendar
  • Help with any/all services needed with clients, taxi, coffee bar, paperwork copies, welcome packets, hotels, restaurants.
  • Stock all lobby needs; fridge, candy dishes, coffee etc. along with facility office supplies
  • Send out weekly communication to employees.
  • Assists with onsite visitors including employees and clients.
  • Office supply ordering.
  • Catering orders and set up.

Qualifications:
  • 0-3 years' experience in facility management, customer service, client relations, or related field, preferred.
  • HS Diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be a great communicator, professional and team player.
  • Highly efficient, self-motivated, and well organized at planning and prioritizing work; developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work; detail oriented.
  • Independent and proactive worker
  • Able to work under pressure and the ability to manage a varied and complex workload effectively.
  • Ability to properly utilize all systems for maximum efficiencies (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks
  • Works on basic and routine assignments
  • Selects correct processes from prescribed rules or guidelines
  • Work is closely managed and follows detailed instructions
  • Seeks regular guidance and advice from supervisor

Anticipated hourly range: $15.00 per hour - $21.35 per hour
