Under the supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer & Operations Manager this position is responsible for providing receptionist support to multiple departments and will be crossed trained to work in all administrative areas of the company to include: Reception duties include front line customer services dealing with patients, medical facilities, physician offices and the public, answering telephones, data entry, maintaining medical records, faxing/filing/scanning and other assigned tasked based upon the needs of the office.
Qualifications:
1. High school graduate, GED, AA degree.
2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
3. Ability to resolve problems and set priorities.
4. Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with confidence, clarity and attention to detail.
5. Pleasant telephone demeanor with exceptional customer service skills.
6. Basic typing and computer skills.
7. Ability to work cooperatively with others and multi-task in a busy office setting.
8. Satisfactory references.
9. TB Test or Chest X-Ray 5 years prior to employment or within 30 days of employment.
10. Successful completion of orientation process.
Job Knowledge:
1. Possess working knowledge and understanding of the functional organizational make-up of the Home Health Agency.
2. Working knowledge of State, Federal and JACHO guidelines/regulations.
3. Working knowledge of general computer programs (ie: Word, Excel, electronic medical record charting
4. Working knowledge of general medical terminology.
Computer Skills:
1. Basic computer usage, internet, typing, emailing, and word processing skills.
2. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel.
