- Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Assist patients with check-in, fill out necessary forms, and verify insurance information.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and texts with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide information about the clinic's services and general inquiries.
- Take accurate messages and forward them to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and manage financial transactions.
- Assist with insurance claims processing and coordination.
- Keep the reception area tidy and presentable.
- Monitor and manage office supplies, placing orders when necessary.
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure the overall efficiency of daily operations.
- Manage and follow-up with all leads (i.e. digital marketing, referrals, call/walk-ins etc.)
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
- Familiarity with medical or chiropractic terminology is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and scheduling software.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or chiropractic setting is preferred.
