We are seeking a skilled and personable Chiropractic Office Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the ENTIRE OFFICE. This role requires a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
- Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Assist patients with check-in, fill out necessary forms, and verify insurance information.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
Phone Management:
- Answer and direct incoming calls and texts with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide information about the clinic's services and general inquiries.
- Take accurate messages and forward them to the appropriate staff.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and manage financial transactions.
- Assist with insurance claims processing and coordination.
Office Coordination:
- Keep the reception area tidy and presentable.
- Monitor and manage office supplies, placing orders when necessary.
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure the overall efficiency of daily operations.
Lead Generation and Conversion:
- Manage and follow-up with all leads (i.e. digital marketing, referrals, call/walk-ins etc.)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
- Familiarity with medical or chiropractic terminology is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and scheduling software.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
Education and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or chiropractic setting is preferred.
