```Duties``
Reception Managemen
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and respond to phone calls, take messages, and provide information as needed
- Schedule appointments
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
- Assist with administrative tasks as assigned
- Manage office supplies and inventory levels
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Patient Managemnt
-Manage recall system
-Confirm the next day's appointment by telephone
-Gather and accurately record dental, medical, and insurance information from patient
-Accurately file patient information
-Schedule patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time
-Collect money from patients at time of treatment
-Assist in treatment rooms as needed
Insurance management
-Submit treatment plans for predetermination of benefits
-Prepare claim forms for patients with dental insurance
-Organize supporting materials for claim forms, such as radiographs or written narratives
-Assist in the resolution of problems with third-party payers
Billing management
-Prepare billing statements and mail
-Telephone patients with account overdue
-Post check or Explanation of Benefits
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training is a plus
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred but we will train
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and phone systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus for dental receptionist positions
