Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist to join our company. The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and welcoming demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet visitors/customers in person, on the telephone, via email, or text.
- Review contracts and related paperwork for omissions and accuracy and enter into the system.
- Order product, verify and enter confirmations, and submit purchase orders.
- Consult with Design Consultants and Installers regarding product issues impacting customers.
- Provide product and service information to customers.
- Assist Window World customers to resolve concerns.
- Ensure that customers are updated on their order status.
- Document and record customer transactions within the Company’s software, including customer inquiries, complaints or comments and actions taken.
- Confirm customer appointments and reschedule as necessary for installs.
- Process and record customer payments.
- Coordinate product delivery from vendors.
- Maintain and manage inventory and supplies.
- Maintain the reception area and conference rooms, ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Manage sales commissions.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Submit daily deposits.
- Monitor and maintain office equipment, including printers, copiers, and fax machines, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate department.
- Uphold confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information or client matters.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Knowledge of office equipment and procedures.
- Experience in the construction industry or related field is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
