Shifts: Weekends & Occasionally fill in on week days

Job Summary:

Serves as the front office contact person and Receptionist; assists with clerical and business needs of Facility; responsible for answering phone and greeting visitors; must communicate courteously and respectfully with Residents, families, Employees and others

Requirements / Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalency; prefer previous experience in secretarial position; must have excellent telephone etiquette, verbal communication skills; must be able to multi-task with minimal supervision; must have basic computer skills in Microsoft Office; must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answers the telephone courteously; routes phone calls and forwards messages
• Acknowledges and greets visitors, Residents and others in a professional, friendly, courteous manner
• Receives and distributes mail and processes outgoing mail; visits the Post Office if requested
• Assists with managing the office supplies inventory; assists with ordering as directed by the Administrator
• Receives deliveries and places supplies in stock in appropriate places when received
• Uses computer for letters, memos, correspondence, spreadsheets and other documents as needed and requested
• Assists with making and/or serving coffee to guests and keeps work area tidy
• Runs Company-related errands as requested and needed by the Administrator
• Maintains strict confidentiality of Personnel matters and other proprietary information
• Updates and maintains a current census of Residents
• Performs filing and a variety of clerical duties
• Delivers messages and/or delivers packages, mail and flowers to Residents as needed

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
