Position Summary: Our busy Internal Medicine office is a looking for a full-time receptionist to join our team. We are wanting a receptionist who is friendly, reliable, hard-working, and who is pleasant with patients. Applicants should have great people skills, be service-oriented, and must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work well under pressure.
Essential Job Functions: Be present and punctual to all shifts. Patient check-in and check-out. Insurance prior authorizations, collecting co-pays and balances at time of service, data entry, maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Must be a self-motivated individual, positive, happy and upbeat. Ability to adapt to change.
Qualifications: Great customer service skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Phone experience. Previous medical office receptionist experience preferred but not required. Computer proficiency. Ability to multi-task in a busy, high demand work setting. Responds promptly to the needs of others and looks for ways to help and serve. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing day to day tasks.
Hours: Must be able to work Monday through Friday and be available to work anywhere from 7a to 5:30 pm.
