Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Computer skills with Word and Excel a plus
- Creating Department newsletter
- Greet the public in a warm and welcoming manner. Screen all visitors, guests, and vendors following current county/state rules for visitation and infection control.
- Provide customer service and answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner and take accurate and complete messages and give to appropriate departments.
- Sell meal tickets as well as special events tickets. Collect cash and appropriately document incoming cash and balance cash box daily.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist office manager with timecard reviews, informing staff of appropriate timecard usage and informing managers of questions from employees regarding their timecards.
- Office supply inventory review, updating office manager with ordering needs and ensuring office supplies are organized and easily accessible to necessary team members.
- Receive residents rent payments each month and pass along to office manager. Answer basic questions regarding resident’s inquiries regarding invoices.
- Postage tracking and package delivery acceptance.
- Monitor lobby and visitors; keeping a clean and safe environment for residents and visitors.
- Always observe and uphold resident rights.
- Relate to the public and residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner.
- Must be willing to work with staff from all departments to ensure quality of care for residents.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Scheduling responsibilities for tours, medical appointments, and other resident transport needs.
- Must handle incoming sales calls in a professional manner and act with a sense of urgency in addressing the needs of the caller.
- Assist office manager and additional managers with administrative needs.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Relate to residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner.
- Must possess qualities of leadership, tact, and adaptability to change. Must be neat in appearance, pleasant personality, be congenial to fellow team members, residents, families and the public in general. Must be capable of using own judgement and initiative in daily duties.
- Must be a mature individual. Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
Qualifications:
- Must be Drug free and submit to Urinary Analysis Drug screening upon hire and routinely.
- Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check, Health Screening including TB test.
- Must be eighteen (18) years old.
- A passion for helping seniors, especially those living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living.
Physical Demands and Requirements:
- Maintain ability to lift 25 pounds; to stand, get up or down, and walk throughout a majority of the workday; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.
- Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items.
