Receptionist/Administrative Clerk
Rainbow USA is one of the fastest growing junior, kids, plus, and petite specialty apparel chains. Headquartered in Brooklyn, NY and founded in 1935, Rainbow is a fashion leader to its 14–49-year-old customers.
There are almost 1100 stores in 38 states including Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands operating under various trade names, such as Rainbow, Rainbow Plus, Rainbow Kids, 579, and Marianne’s. Rainbow’s customers appreciate and purchase fashion apparel but are value conscious and look to Rainbow to provide fashion forward trends at inexpensive price points.
We are currently in search of a Receptionist/ Administrative Clerk for our corporate office located at 1000 Pennsylvania Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
Job Description
· Manage the reception area
· Answer incoming calls
· Filing and Clerical responsibilities when not on the reception desk including mail room
· Must provide for other receptionist relief for lunch and breaks
· Must maintain and keep organize the reception desk
· Greet guest to our corporate office
Requirements
· Computer literate
· Good phone voice
· Professional appearance
· High School or GED
· Able to work Wednesdays (between 8AM and 6PM)
· May be asked to cover receptionist responsibilities during Monday thru Friday
· Perform addition office responsibilities typing and filing
· Bilingual in Spanish with written and communications skills a plus
We expect that the successful candidate will be offered a wage rate in the range of $ 17.00 to $ 22.00 per hour; the actual rate offered will be based on the candidate's skills, relevant experience, length of relevant experience, and on labor market conditions.
