Receptionist

Job Grade: 1

Purpose of Job:

• To serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
• To be the key notifier of visitor arrival to company personnel
• To maintain security and telecommunication system

Main Duties:

• Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring
• Effectively directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories and providing instructions as needed
• Effectively maintain security by ensuring all employees are entering the building with their own assigned badges, monitoring the visitor logbook, and escorting visitors as needed
• To effectively manage the telecommunication system by directing calls to the appropriate dept and/or delivering messages/voicemails to the appropriate department
• Maintain safe and clean reception area daily by complying with company procedures, rules and regulations
• To work cooperatively with Mailroom Clerk to ensure invoices get folded and put into an envelope to mail out daily
• Contributes to the overall team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma required
