Receptionist

We are looking for a receptionist to manage our front desk daily and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers and employees in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.

• Operate telephone (multi-phone lines).

• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time spent on hold.

• Take thorough messages, indicating the caller’s first and last name, company name if applicable, the time and the message the caller wishes to leave.

• Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries.

• Assist with administrative tasks including, but not limited to filing, typing correspondence, and assisting with invoicing.

• Handle customer payment for merchandise purchases.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1 year of administrative or receptionist experience is required.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Microsoft Office experience.

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Ability to operate multi-phone lines.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

• Ability to work well with the public.

Salary: $19.00 / $20.00 hr.

Day range:

• Monday to Friday

• 8:00am to 5:00pm
