Receptionist

We are looking for a professional, courteous, and helpful Receptionist to join our growing CPA firm. This is an excellent opportunity with a firm that values its employees. This is a full-time position with benefits and with a work schedule of Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Overtime is required during tax season (generally mid-March through mid-April) and occasionally at other tax deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering, screening and transferring calls; greeting all clients and visitors
• Provide general information as required
• Handle a variety of means of correspondence in a timely and accurate manner
• Monitor conference rooms and waiting area to ensure proper presentation
• Maintaining confidentiality with sensitive financial and personal information
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory
• Other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor and communication style
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Possession of excellent verbal communication skills
• Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong organizational skills
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in reception work, preferably in a CPA firm
• High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
