Atlantic Audiology, Inc, is a privately owned and operated audiology practice specializing in hearing evaluations and hearing aid fitting and service. We have 2 locations serviced by 2 Doctors of Audiology and 1 Hearing Instrument Specialist.
At Atlantic Audiology Inc, we believe that each patient is unique and the impact of their hearing loss is unique as well. By developing a more personal relationship with our patients, we are better able to address their needs through individualized counseling and device selection.
We are looking for a new front desk Patient Care Coordinator/supervisor who would be able to work in both our Cranston and North Kingstown offices. The ideal candidate should be a strong leader and self-starter. We're looking for a high-energy individual who is interested in helping us provider the utmost service for our patients while multi-tasking in our fast-paced environment. This person would be in charge or supervising our Patient Care coordinators in both locations (currently 2 employees) and assisting with calls.
Other tasks include:
- Learning and becoming proficient using Blueprint OMS- our hearing aid specific software utilized in the clinic. On-the-job-training provided.
- Registering new patients over the phone and coordinating delivery of new patient paperwork
- Booking appointments appropriately.
- Verifying insurance information
- Receiving deliveries and mail
- Check-in and check-out patients before and after appointments
- Completing payments in our accounting system.
- - Reconciliation of insurance payments using BluePrint OMS and Office Ally (on-the-job-training)
- Coordination with the audiology assistant for mailings and patient and physician outreach
- Ensuring that all paperwork/ physician orders are in place for appointments. Overseeing staff completion of registrations/bookings etc.
- Possibility to transition into a full office manager role for the right candidate over time.
- Also possibility to learn billing/insurance for advancement in daily roles.

At least 1 year of medical office experience REQUIRED.
