Receptionist

Freya Salon, located in Milwaukee's Bayview neighborhood is seeking a friendly and reliable individual to join our team as a Receptionist!

We have been offering premium hair services with a laid-back atmosphere in the heart of Milwaukee’s Bayview neighborhood since 2007. Freya is known for quality salon services and friendly staff, if this interests you apply today!

Position Responsibilities:

• Answering phones, communication via email (making appointments, answering questions about hair services and hair product)
• Welcoming clients when entering salon
• Checking clients out (ensure ticket is correct, take proper payment, rebook next appointment)
• Cleaning (during down time asked to complete daily, weekly cleaning duties, and closing duties when closing)
• Laundry
• Restock retail shelves

Qualifications / Skills:

• Prior salon or retail experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A great attitude and desire to give great customer service is a must!
• Flexible schedule – available mornings, evenings, as well as some weekends.
• Basic computer skills, prior experience with SalonBiz a plus.
• The ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment is key.

Hours & Benefits:

• Hours per week: 12 - 20
• Shifts weekday: 9:30am - 2:30pm, 2:30pm - 8:30pm
• Shifts weekend: 8:30am - 5:30pm, 8:30am - 1pm or 1pm - 5:30pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
