Job Description
Overview: A General Receptionist is responsible to answer the phone, greeting visitors/ job applicants, preparing documents, managing supplies, inventory and scheduling appointments .
This position is temporary, approximately 4-6 weeks. Weekly schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - Friday
Shift :
- Monday - Friday: 9AM-5PM
Receptionist Duties:
- Answer the telephone and direct calls appropriately
- Greet visitors entering the organization, direct visitors and job applicants to the correct destination
- Maintain a clean general office area in good order and neatly organized files
- Keeping records according to office manager instructions
- Assisting to maintain files in order, making copies. Computer work, maintenance and update of client files, reports, flyers, assisting with thank you letters and cards, keeping the office area clean.
- Ordering office supplies as needed.
- Assisting with all aspects of the food pantry operation( including ordering, clients appointments, organization, and cleanliness), as directed by office manager.
- create and keep accurate files
- Assisting with any other areas as assigned by office manager.
- Report to work well-groomed and in compliance with dress code
- Always keeping high level o f professionalism
Qualification:
- High School Diploma Required, Associate Degree Preferred
- Must be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be punctual and must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently
- Ability to maintain the highest standard of professionalism and confidentiality
Pay Rate: $18.00/HR
