The Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors and answers incoming calls providing professional and accurate service in accordance with policy and procedure.
In this role you will:
- Answer incoming calls within 3 rings and effectively route calls to the appropriate person/department.
- Coordinate the reception voicemail message box to ensure overnight messages are routed promptly.
- Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring visitor logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
- Welcome visitors by greeting, directing, and announcing them appropriately; provide basic information as requested. As needed, maintain in/out of office list.
- General administrative support, including but not limited to: ordering and managing office supplies, sorting incoming mail, distributing faxes, troubleshooting printer issues, filing, copying, collating, typing, scanning, assisting with mass mailings, organizing data (electronic and paper), ordering food, reserving conference rooms, making travel arrangements, creating invoices, assisting with special projects and any other items of a general administrative nature.
- General oversight of the facility kitchen which includes, cleaning, ordering drinks and snacks, and other general upkeep.
- Perform audits on publications.
- High school diploma or GED; associates degree preferred
- 2 years administrative, reception, or customer service related experience
- Computer skills necessary to utilize LPi's office support software (phone, AS400 and Microsoft Office software) and operate basic office equipment such as copier, fax, printer, mail machine, etc.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills. The ability to speak clearly and have people understand what is being communicated. Ability to establish a rapport with co-workers, even with people who are different from him/herself

- Strong ability to function in a team setting with ability to relate to various levels of people
- Able to work independently under general supervision; manage time effectively to meet goals and LPi timelines
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong understanding of phone/email etiquette
