Receptionist

`NY Glaucoma Institute, a leading ophthalmology office in Brooklyn, is looking for a front desk receptionist who speaks both Russian and English. The front desk receptionist is responsible for:

• Greeting and registering patients, verifying their insurance and personal information, and collecting co-pays
• Scheduling and confirming appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to emails
• Maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Handling billing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks
• Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues or complaints
• Working closely with the doctors, nurses, and other staff members to ensure smooth operations

The ideal candidate has:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in a medical office or similar setting
• Fluency in both Russian and English, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and multitasking abilities
• A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for helping others

The benefits include:

• A competitive salary of $19-21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• A full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm
