ABOUT US:
PENDERGAST LAW, a first-class law firm, is searching for a dynamic receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate must present a professional image both on the phone and in person. Personal qualities to perform this job successfully include punctuality and reliability, along with enthusiasm for multi-tasking and client service.
Duties:
- Efficiently operate a multi-line telephone system to answer, screen and direct incoming calls, take messages and provide accurate information
-Greet persons entering office, determine purpose of visit, answer inquiries, and/or escort clients to appropriate location
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail including packages and courier deliveries
- Maintain the front desk, reception area, copy room, and conference rooms to reflect a tidy and organized appearance
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our front desk area as well as provide miscellaneous office support to multiple departments
Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years working as a receptionist, or combination experience in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in MS office applications, including experience with basic office equipment
- Ability to take instruction and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
