Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continual basis. It does not exclude other duties that may be assigned.)
o Maintain shipping schedule up to date and email to appropriate distribution list.
o Hand out work orders to team members for staging and shipping of orders.
o Check drivers in and assign doors.
o Ensure all paperwork is signed and accurate before turning in to customer service.
o Scan all paperwork and keep in orderly fashion on the computer.
o Communicate in a timely fashion the status of orders to customer service, managers, supervisors, leads and directors.
o Scan and email all dock audit forms to quality manager.
o Scan and email all trailer inspection forms to safety manager.
o Ensure all receiving paperwork is signed, printed name, and date before scanning to appropriate distribution list.
o Ensure efficient operation of shipping and receiving product to customer while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
o Maintain excellent housekeeping practices in shipping area.
o Practice proper safety techniques.
o Complete general area maintenance duties on equipment as assigned. This may include help from the maintenance department when necessary.
o Follow all procedures and guidelines.
o Perform other duties as assigned and/or requested.
