Receiving Clerk

Approved Freight Forwarders has an immediate opening for a qualified Receiving Clerk to join our growing team in the City of Industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and possesses shipping experience.

The compensation rate is $18.00 p/hr.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experience in WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Collecting information from customers and clients
• Entering data into the central database
• Cataloging the data with appropriate tags for ease of reference
• Transferring physical records into a digital filing system
• Retrieving data as requested
• Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary
• Communicating with customers/Team members
• Uploading documents into a database

Skills / Abilities :

• Experience with WMS
• Data Entry
• Excellent attendance and communication skills

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience with Warehouse Management System
• Freight Forwarding experience is a plus
