Oiles America Corporation, an innovator in self-lubricating bearing technologies, is seeking a Receiving Clerkfor our North Carolina facility. The ideal candidate is responsible for receiving of all incoming materials and products to the NCP facility. Will also be responsible for incoming inspection of materials for damage, processing, and completion of related paperwork. Are you the one we are looking for?
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Qualification Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Receiving experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment (minimum 1 year)
- Driver’s license required with no major traffic violations on record
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Safely operate forklift both Sit-down and Standup
- This job requires a basic command of the English language
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Basic math skills
- Familiar with FIFO process
- Strong organizational skills
- Multi-task skills
- Basic computer skills (word, outlook, excel)
Essential Functions
- Receive all incoming freight, verifying quantities against accompanying packing slip
- Using forklift or other necessary material handling equipment, unpack and place incoming materials on the appropriate rack and level space per specifications
- Pull material to work centers and transfer moved material using established computer system.
- Work with purchasing to ensure that all shipments are received
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment (5S) by keeping all aisles and walkways clear of materials, forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
- Perform cycle count on inventory as directed
- Provide accurate computer input of all appropriate data pertinent to receiving of inventory
- Correctly route and document all receiving paperwork
- Receive and log in UPS and Fed Ex shipments and deliver to appropriate departments
- Perform other assignments and responsibilities as directed by management
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to lift overhead as needed (up to 25 lbs)
- Ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs (cart or other material handling device)
- Ability to read and understand written work instructions and processes
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, stoop to perform duties
