Job Description
- Perform inspections and tests on raw materials.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Conduct root/cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality records: test results, inspection reports, and quality assurance documents.
- Many job duties are not listed here, must be self-motivated and willing to take on various tasks as they may arise.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret production blueprints/schematics.
- Must be able to read and interpret digital and manual precision measuring tools: micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.
- Must be able to work with all levels of personnel including shop, administration, and engineering.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 preferred
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Computer skills preferred – or willingness to learn Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Must have the desire to implement skills that provide excellent inspections and furnish processes for continuous quality improvement & customer satisfaction.
- Must demonstrate good leadership skills and the ability to train others.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Must be able to lift 50 - 75 lbs.
- Must be willing to work in all aspects of quality assurance.
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (with breaks)
