Introduction to the job
ASML in Wilton CT (US) is seeking a Quality Specialist to execute and coordinate processes related to internal and external customer quality here in Wilton Connecticut. These activities include internal quality assessments, production document portal administration, customer quality coordination and quality department KPI reporting. This position is with the Quality department within the Operational Excellence and Wilton Operations organization.
You will be part of the Operational and Excellent (OE) Quality department, where we focus on improving the quality of the factory. With our audits we aim to identify improvement possibilities. As Quality department we will also support with the closure of our audit findings. And by doing so ultimately enhancing the quality performance of ASML.
To conclude in this position, you will work in the WF Operational Excellence Quality department and report to the WF General Quality Manager.
Role and responsibilities
1. Perform internal audits for Wilton Factory
o Prepare Internal Quality assessment announcements and interview schedules in close cooperation with management representatives from the business and other stakeholders.
o Execute & report on internal Quality Assessments
o Secure the right ownership of assessment observations and associated actions and stimulating & monitoring progress of those actions.
2. Maintain the production document portal for Wilton Factory
o Perform quality check of the work instruction/documents
o Upload documents to the production portal o Do regular maintenance of the production document portal
3. Coordinate/support with cooperate audits/external ISO audit as required
4. Support with weekly/monthly KPI data reporting related to Factory Quality Department metrics
5. Execute/support quality improvement projects
6. Support with DOA/CQN/F2F logistic tracking
7. Occasional travel to Europe, Asia, and within the US depending on business need
Education
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent education experience.Master's degree preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years increasing experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Quality Assessments, CAPA management, and ISO certification.
- ISO9001 Auditor or equivalent auditing experience required. Certified ISO9001 Lead Auditor preferred
- Broad knowledge and experience of implementing quality tools, means and methods
- Expertise and experience in risk management
- Strong computer and analytical skills. MS Office software (i.e., Outlook, Teams, PP, Excel, Word)

- Strong quality focus with commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Agile and adapting in approach when needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with influencing skills for cross sector buyin.
- Collaborates with various department organizational levels to achieve consensus
- Ability to summarize detail results into effective management summaries/reports
- Effective meeting facilitation skills
