Base Salary: $70,000-$100,000/yr.
Job Summary:
The Quality Manager will manage, and lead a small team, that support metal finishing processes within AS9100 & ISO 9001 and Nadcap quality management systems. You will manage AS9100D & Nadcap audits and accreditations and have a drive to add additional Nadcap accreditations for the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small team of associates & the quality department.
- Supporting metal finishing processes within AS9100D & ISO 9001:2015 and Nadcap quality management systems.
- Oversee quality functions for incoming materials and completed finished products.
- Conduct new employee training for quality and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance of daily operational processes in the laboratory.Facilitate internal and external regulatory audits.
- Waste Stream and Regulatory Compliance: Manage waste stream disposition according to regulatory standards.
- Oversee regulatory compliance testing
- Monitor and manage quality system performance metrics.
- Ensure process integrity and accurate business data collection/reporting to senior management.
- Lead NADCAP certification expansion efforts for all processes within the organization.
- Collaborate closely with customers on all non-conformance related issues.
- Partner with Operations to address non-conformances and develop short- and long-term solutions for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Prior experience with AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, and Nadcap standards, required.
- Previous leadership experience, managing or supervising direct reports, preferred.
- Prior experience in plating & metal finishing, is advantageous.
- Comfortable working with customers regarding quality and non-conformance issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, Workbook formulas, and Word, required.
