We are seeking a skilled and reliable Porter/Maintenance professional to join our team. As a Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our proprty. Your duties will include performing cleaning/sanitizing tasks, assisting with repairs, keeping logs, garbage disposal, keeping inventory and providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs
- Keeping building interior & exterior clean and sanitary
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and materials used
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with other team members (Superintendent and Board of Directors) to complete projects efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors
-Keep laundry room equipment clean (wipe down machines, empty lint traps, etc.)
-Sweeping and mopping of elevators, laundry rooms, compactor rooms, lobby, hallways, common areas, etc.
-Disposing of garbage and recycling, emptying and cleaning bins
Skills:
- Attention to detail and to keep things clean and tidy
- Experience in facilities maintenance and cleaning
- Ability to fabricate or modify equipment as needed
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent communicating abilities
- Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills
