What to expect:
This is an ongoing Quality Inspector position, part-time with a full-time potential. You will be part of a global inspection team assuring the quality of components and assemblies that this global aerospace leader is sourcing from one or more suppliers in this area. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA's operations center based on client needs and each supplier's production schedule.
What you'll do:
You will be conducting visual inspections and paperwork verification at our client's supplier(s) in the greater OC/LA area.
What you'll need:
5+ years of hands-on inspection experience
Knowledge and hands-on experience working with various inspection tools and methods
Experience with IPC-610 and PCBA is required. Experience with Cables & Harnesses and IPC-620 a plus.
Experience with GD&T, precision measuring tools a plus.
Be able to read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
Due to the nature of the products, US Citizenship is also a requirement and background checks are required.
