Quality Inspector - AS9100

1st shift Monday - Friday
$16-17.50/hr depending on experience
Temp To Hire - Hired on after approx 90 Days!
Eligible for Raise and Benefits once hired on.

Host Employer is a full-service manufacturer of Springs, Metallic and Non-Metallic Stampings, Wire Forms, and Welded Assemblies to customers worldwide.
Primary Purpose:
To conduct inspection of manufactured product to the customer’s specifications and maintain compliance with the Quality Systems standard(s).
Basic Functions:
- Able to perform all duties, responsibilities, and requirements of a Machine Operator.
- Understand first piece inspection requirements, floor or bench inspection and last inspection of product.
- Responsible for release of product to warehouse.
- Operate various types of measuring and inspection equipment.
- Perform internal audit as assigned by Quality Coordinator.
- Understands the basic principles of quality control and the principle charts used in process inspection.
- Ensure that the Quality System Policies and Procedures and Documentation are understood implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Required: One or more years’ experience as production operator. Experience with Quality System standards for various business types.
Required: AS 9100
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and customer drawings.
- Able to utilize various types of measuring and inspection equipment.
- Ability to listen courteously and effectively communicate in a clear professional manner, in English, both verbal and written, to create a positive working environment.
- Ability to effectively plan and carry out the activities associated with the Quality System.
- Ability to operate various computer programs found in a Quality System environment.
