We are looking for highly motivated Inspector with a great attitude and experience to participate in all functions of the quality process.
Position Purpose
Ensure that only highest quality parts reach customers by inspecting precision manufactured parts and incoming materials to determine conformance and to identify and report defects. This work may be performed in the quality laboratory, designated inspection areas, and on the shop floor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reads blueprints and drawings to understand specifications and tolerances for parts to be inspected.
- Visually inspects and measures parts and incoming materials using a variety of hard gauges, hand tools, and CMM equipment to determine whether parts conform to specifications. Parts may be inspected in receiving, in-process, and in final inspection.
- Prioritizes work load by analyzing production reports.
- Uses a variety of computer programs including Job Boss, PC –DMIS, and eBx to acquire product prints, populate database information, record test results, view deviations, and read and respond to emails, etc.
- Communicates job status, parts conformance, problems, and other relevant information to coworkers, operators on the floor, and supervisor.
- Completes and submits required inspection reports and other documentation.
- Writes detailed, accurate, customer reports.

•Suggests improvements to processes and methods.
•Is accountable for assisting in meeting goals related to quality, cost and delivery.
•Operates in compliance with safety standards at all times.
•Maintains a clean, organized work area.
•Assists co-workers as needed and as requested; seeks ways to be helpful to others to produce and deliver quality work on time.
•Accepts ownership for accomplishing new and different tasks as well as current work; seeks opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
•Updates job knowledge by participating in educational and training opportunities and reading technical publications.
•Performs other tasks as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
