Schedule: 4-10's

● Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:15pm

● Potential overtime on Friday's, 6:00am-3:00pm

● No Weekends

● Starting Rate: $25+ based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Review shop drawings and interpret them to determine weld requirements and for any specific weld joint preparation.
• Verify weldments have been fabricated correctly according to shop drawings (Dimensions, placement, joint preparation).
• Inspect material for defects such as cracks or delamination’s.
• Inspect all welds in accordance with code standards, including AWS D1.1, AISC, and other criteria specific to Ben’s.
• Verify parts are labeled correctly at final inspection for the finishing process.
• Scan barcodes on main marks after check or inspections are completed.
• Assist in maintaining and updating Non-Conformance and discontinuity logs.
• Assist in calibration of measuring and test equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in welding.
• Detail-oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings.
• 2 + years print reading experience.
• 1 year checking or inspecting experience.
• Must be able to pass eye exam per AWS requirements.
• Must Pass Ben’s QC Inspector training.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
