Form of work- Receiving and inspecting incoming materials for conformance to specifications.
- Testing and evaluating incoming materials (raw materials) and intermediate products to ensure they are within specification and Coloplast standards.
Major Areas of Accountability
- Receive raw materials (chemical and component) into E1 including printing coli and pallet labels.
- Perform raw material and intermediate product inspections per specifications and procedures.
- Maintain neat, orderly documentation of inspections and test results.
- Maintain clean workstations, dispose of solvents and solvent containers per EHS guidelines.
- Confirm materials meet established standards and specifications and release per procedures.
- Investigate out of specification (OOS) results, use problem solving techniques to determine root cause and correctives actions. Write QANs as necessary.
- Assure necessary supplies are available for use.
- Ensure that equipment is in good working order and calibrated prior to use if necessary.
- Work cross functionally to improve incoming product quality and operation efficiency.
- Sample and complete retests of materials prior to the expiration date of the material.
- Follow regulatory requirements of cGMP, ISO, USP, and Coloplast.
- Follow all EHS policies and safe practices.
- Complete Quality and EHS training as required
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent related experience required.
- Ability to lift 50-80 pounds
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining routine responsibilities.
- Able to read and understand SDS
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to communicate on technical issues exhibiting strong verbal and written skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
- Inspection experience
- USP requirements and test methods.
